Dear Mama...MY FIRST LOVE

Ms. Gladys Stevens, aka Ms. Cita, you are my inspiration to everything I do. I will live out ALL my dreams, and make sure you are there every step of the way. I love you, and you have loved me every step of the way. You support my every decision, thought, imagination, etc. I love you mama. We don't always see eye to eye, and you don't always see things from my perspective... I know everything you tell me, i will benefit from in the end. I remember when it was just us, me and you, for a long period of time. All we had was your one income and we still made it, MAMA I LOVE YOU. You got me those forces you promised [back when i didn't even care about shoes], you got me that new outfit everytime. Look at us NOW! We still here, all because of God, look where we at mama. I promise, I will get you out the 'hood. You will have that house in the hills, or wherever you want it. Mama, you are my big sister, my everything, my role model, etc. You're everything I wish to be. A STRONG, INDEPENDENT, BLACK WOMAN. Thank you for loving me and supporting me..and yes, i did shed a tear while writing this. I can't imagine life w/ out you.
